Eastern Bloc'!
Well well well, back to the blog! Im sitting in the shadiest internet cafe in Budapest.. and its bloody awesome. Flew into Bratislava ( thats Slovakia people) a few days ago and everyday has been incredible. Bratislava, tiny old town , but so sweet and charming. Not really my cup of tea but my fellow travel buddies seemed to like it. Its like time has stood still in Bratislava, I kid you not. I was standing in a street at 3am and you couldnt tell whether it was 2006 or 1206. Crazy shit! But was kool. The girls were up for a mammoth round of sight seeing the next day but Alex and I took a more relaxed approach. I dont do sight seeing at 8am. Period.
Onwards and upwards to next destination, and we couldnt decide whether to go to Vienna or Budapest. Budapest is cheaper. We eventually found Bratislavas main station and it looked like a bomb had hit it. Pics to follow. Jumping on an old Soviet train literally by the skin of my teeth, and off on an epic voyage to Hungary. Ill tell you the story with the Hungarian border guard later. Anyway my moneys nearly run out. Just enough to say Im still in Pest and loving it. Ciao x
